I can somehow manage gory or violent scenes, Black Swan, The Wrestler, Thirteen etc., but not this movie. I don't think I can ever watch it again, not that it's bad or worthless, but because the experience wouldn't be the same. It's emotional and intimate yet intrusive and detached. The movie itself thrives in dichotomies almost willing the audience to face the extremities of our humanity.
